Why is it that old fashioned has a negative implication, but vintage is so very inspiring and highly sought out?

Whatever the reason, I have a passion for old things. Weathered black and white photographs, classic dresses, historic buildings, vintage jewelry, antique furniture, depression glass and out-of-production fiestaware and yellow ware bowls, and individuals with old souls.

The fun for me is finding a way to incorporate aged treasures into modern design. Give an old piece of furniture new life. Create a modern design inspired by a vintage detail. To basically create something new that tells the story of both our present and our past.

To truly embrace where you are headed, you must remember where you have been.
