If you are anything like me you love to watch spaces transform.  My love of design extends to decorating and I am always the one who wants to see a new space before any improvements are started so I can fully appreciate the work and vision of those who are so inclined.  I am forever encouraging those around me to document the "before" so you can always look back and see how far you've come.  You will never exactly remember just how bad that old paint color was, how terrible the floors looked before being restored, how closed in that room felt before the renovation or how hideous that wallpaper was and why you spent so many hours with a steamer and scraper in hand until your fingers were cramped and you were covered from head to toe in sticky paper remnants.

My new home, while not a "fixer upper" (been there, done that) definitely needed my own touch.  Here are a few pics of what we have been doing the past two weeks and why our blogs have been few and far between.  Room by room our home is transforming around me and I promise to post completed pics once the rooms are completed.  These are just a few sneak peaks!
