When I think of Disney or Pixar I think of entertainment for my kids.  The movies are cute and the animation is always cutting edge. So on a rainy Monday afternoon with school out for the summer, we took the kids to see Up. There are so many reasons why this movie was a real surprise.  Funny, touching and unexpectedly deep, my kids left thinking it was good and I left totally moved. While advertised as a story about an adventure between an unlikely duo, it really hit on the sweetness and sadness of a life long love, how the reality of dreams aren't always what you think they will be and how often the real adventures in life are those that are unexpected.
