There is something so magical about the first real snowfall in a new home. The fire was roaring, there was no place to go and the kids played in the snow with their friends for hours! Sleds made their first showing of the season and snowballs flung back and forth across the yard to squeals of delight. Rosy cheeked kids came bursting through the door, laughing and shivering to then strip down near the hearth and warm themselves with cocoa.
Oh the absolute joy of a white Christmas!
