Race back to the house, turn on the news.
It is the first official delayed school opening! Squeals of delight come from the kitchen where my daughter has been intently staring at the TV hoping for her school's name to pop up. Here by the shore we have nothing but rain, yet it is exciting just the same. Here's hoping for actual fluffy white stuff this season!

Aww how lucky for your daughter! Out here on the West coast, I never got to experience school being closed due to weather. Just earthquakes! lol
