thanksgiving leftovers.

I have hosted Thanksgiving for years.  This year, I am hosting "the day after" as part of a new tradition with our recent child arrangement of splitting every other Thanksgiving.

I am taking all the yummy leftovers from mom's and creating a different menu to become a new tradition.  All the remaining family and friends will come over to enjoy a relaxing day of hanging together, noshing on variations of familiar flavors and just extending the celebration for a wee bit longer.

On the menu? Among other treats I am making pometinis {pomegranate juice with champagne}, turkey, cranberry and fontina paninis {courtesy of the Food Network}, sweet potato crisps and apple coffee cake for dessert.  A new celebration to look forward to every other year!
