Yipee!!! Summer vacation has officially begun. We know why the kids are excited....but how about us parents?
No more helping with homework assignments (and having to re-learn the lesson first so you don't get the "Well if you don't know it, why do I have to know it??)
No more school projects that you hated to do when YOU were their age and they haven't become more appealing now.
No more "oops...mom....I forgot to tell you I need a costume. Oh and for tomorrow morning!"
No more shuttling kids from one after school activity to another and another and another.
No more getting up at the crack of dawn to get little ones off to school on time.
No more mid-day calls from the school nurse.
No more phone calls of forgotten instruments and lunches.
Yeah Summer!!!!
