brown packages tied up with string.

image from simple song

When I was younger my grandparents would visit from the city every Sunday. My grandfather always brought a package of something delicious so simply wrapped in a white or brown box with that distinctly recognizable red and white string. My sister and I couldn't wait to open the box and find out what treat they had bestowed upon us that week. To this day, a simply tied box or a glimpse of that old deli string, brings back the most wonderful childhood memories of those visits. The power of packaging.
