In honor of the first day of spring, I am going to post a few pictures from my home last spring that are sure signs that warm weather is on its way.

I love to garden. There are so many possibilities with each new year and there is nothing more invigorating than being outside in the sun, getting your hands dirty and putting the time into nurturing each plant and watching them grow. The beauty and bounty they give back is well worth the effort.

And since it is still green friday, I am going to add my first plug to plant your own vegetable garden. (A more detailed post on this later!) Don't have room for a garden? It is amazing how much produce you can grow in potted plants. Any outside space that has sun can be turned into a mini-Eden. There is incredible satisfaction in organically growing your own vegetables, herbs and fruits and they taste all the more wonderful when you grow them yourself.

Have a great weekend!
